Canoe on the Russian River

Experience a relaxing day on the river! Warm sunshine, cool water, picturesque scenery, fun and relaxation! That's what you'll find when your spend a day paddling down the Russian River, located in the heart of Sonoma County's wine country.
Russian River canoeing is typically a relaxing day, requiring little or no previous paddling experience. However, the river is dynamic and could give you some fast rides down the river and a few class I rapids. We'll keep you posted as to the flow as it gets closer to the trip date.
Along our way downstream, we can swim, fish (if you have the gear and license), bird watch, picnic and enjoy being away from it all! All levels welcome on this full day paddle. A delicious full lunch will be provided on the river. After our day of paddling the group can head into Healdsburg to grab a bite and maybe a bocce ball rematch!
We'll provide a great lunch along the way, but you may want to bring some of your own beverages for your river trip.

A recommended gear list will come with your confirmed reservation, but you should generally be prepared with the following:
- Clothes appropriate for the weather (avoid wearing cotton)
- Appropriate footwear
- 2 liters of water
